I'm such an IDIOT!

I usually save what I'm doing when I'm working on any file every 5 minutes or so. Usually, I don't have programs crashing on me and losing data - so I'm usually good.

However, within the last two days - I've, for WHATEVER reason not been saving my files. And, as luck would have it, I'll be working on something for an hour, and BOOM - the program crashes, and I lose all of my work. Over the last two days, I've probably flushed about 2 or 2.5 hours of my time down the toilet, simply because I haven't been periodically saving my files.

Sorry.. just needed to vent about how much of an idiot I am..

That's nothing. A few days ago I'm seriously involved in some Photoshop project, and I usually forget to save when I'm so caught up in the editing. Anyways, *blink*, the power goes out. Lost just over 4 hours of work.

Worst part was, after calling and talking the power company we soon discovered that our neighbors still had power. I check the side of the house and sure enough some mischievous little ****-*** turned the main breaker off. If I ever find who's responsible...to the moon Alice! And yes, there is now a padlock on the cover of the main breaker.

i get so caught up sometimes, i just plain forget. hours of work - *poof*

much banging and cursing ensues.

ctrl+s, repeat... until next time. for the most part, i do this consistently often. i'm sure there will be a next time, down the road...

I never forget to save. I always save within two minutes or so. It's a force of habit that I am glad I have.
