Nice list SPEEDO. I think I'll add Genesis, Styx, Chicago, Journey, Boston, U2, Led Zepplen, Pink Floyd, Yes, Dave Matthews Band, and Supertramp; just to name a few. And Billy Joel, if he counts as a band.
Yeah, that is good music!
I like to listen to 60's music, i mostly listen to Beach Boys.
I also listen to some other music, mostly rap.....
...today me and some boys tried to play a CD (i think it had a track or two of Eminem) (well, at least what we were trying to play was) in the CD player that was outside because we had to practice for the school play. We put the CD in, turned up the volume and there comes Nic, the principal's son. He unplugged the CD player powercord and stole it. We all (me and some boys) got in a fight with him and he ran to telll his Mummy who is the principal of the school and we all were in trouble. And we still didn't get to listen to the CD

Eminem is not appropriate for the school yard.

Slap a dress on him and call him suzy

He did that because he was not part of your group, he is a lonely boy who needs to belong, because he is the Principal's son other children ostracize him. befriend this child.

Imagine having your mother or father in school everyday!

having this boy on your side can also be beneficial to you and your friends, be his friend or use him to your advantage, violence never solves anything, well at your level anyway.

we'll talk about good violence when you're much older

does rap cause violence, no

It's not about the music, it's about respect. I am the Director of Operations at my company. My favorite bands include: Korn (#1), Disturbed, Hed PE, System of a Down, etc. I also own nearly every Eminem CD.

However, at my office I play light rock, just for the fact that serveral people find my music of choice offensive. That's fine with me, I respect their opinion, even though I don't see it the same way.

I don't agree that this guy took your power cord, and I would do something about that, but on the same note, maybe it was really the right place to be crankin up the tunes. He should of asked you to turn it down instead.
