Electrocute your muscle things work?

I've been seeing them on TV and was wondering if anyone has tried them. Would be cool to firm the abs while reasearching stuff for business law and doing e-mails. I can understand them on principle but was wondering if they actually work.

Thanks in advance for input,
Pat

I am not sure how the ones on TV works but When I used to be in phyical therpy many years ago for my leg. They made me use one of those muscle contractors. Hated it! cause on areas you are not used to it takes a bit to get used to using those mucsles contracting without mentally doing it. Once you get the rythem down its okay, but I still dispised that part of the physical therpy.

I would never buy one besides those don't get your heart rate going like regular physical excersise does.

had a severe muscle injury in back a few years ago, and they used those for part of physical therapy.. don't know if they actually would build muscle, would have to have them on pretty high power..

What they do is cause the muscle to contract by electric current.. so if you could make the muscle work enough, it would probably work. your muscles would still feel as if you just worked out, and would be just as sore etc, if it was working.

you should post some of those before and after shots! On Leno the other night, he had some before and after shots for a diet system, and in the before shot, it was a fat woman, and after this magical weight loss pill, it was a muscular man!

So be carefull!

Before and after... after this 33 waist goes to 30-32 or after a month, or after three.

Or NOT,
If he's like me.

Imagine my shock when I found out watching the tape on tv while eating popcorn didn't work!
