Not that the GOP cares what she thinks, but...
Nancy Reagan opposes replacing FDR with Reagan on dimes Quote:
"While I can understand the intentions of those seeking to place my husband's face on the dime, I do not support this proposal and I am certain Ronnie would not," the former first lady said in a statement released Friday.
"When our country chooses to honor a great President such as Franklin Roosevelt by placing his likeness on our currency, it would be wrong to remove him and replace him with another," she said. "It is my hope that the proposed legislation will be withdrawn."

She's got my vote on this.
And you know what side of the political fence I'm on.

Doesn't a president have to be dead to be on money?

I think it is in bad taste then. It's like planning a funeral while the guy is still alive.

Nothing against Mr. Reagan, but it would be wrong to change the face on the dime. What would be the point? It's like the new thing of changing street names to honour dead police officers and political figures. There are better ways of honoring our people than having to force this stuff on everybody. Edit: This really sucks! I actually agree with the Democrats on something!

It doesn't suck AT, it just a common sense issue. It would be like removing someones name from a school because back in his day, he owned slaves, and we don't tolerate that anymore. It doesnt' diminish his accomplishments, it's just the new feel good thing to do which is wrong.
Just like all these highschools and professional sports teams being forced to change their names because with the tides of change, they are now not "Politically Correct", even though their is an honorable story behind the name usage. People look at the title, not whats in the book and make their decisions.
