Music, Motorcycle, Movie Quiz.

GDay Folks.
Haven't been around here much lately.
But swill...
For those that remember me.
I'm still kicking. And still leading the points race for FaD in Australia.
WooHoo to me too!

I put up a quiz tonite at the OCAU MC.
Thought i'd share it with you.

Not a great one, but here it is anyway.

Music, Motorcycle, Movie Quiz.
OK. It's a bit, all over the place.
But it's my own work.
So go to it.

1. 'Identify the lyric.'

"I'm worse at what I do best
And for this gift I feel blessed
Our little group has always been
And always will until the end."

Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit has released a cover of Behind Blue Eyes.
2. Who’s song was it originally?
3. Why did he bother? It is limp! and,
4. Hands up those, who didn’t know it was 30 years old! :P

Jimi Hendrix played a RH Guitar left handed. But strung for left hand ie: fat strings at top.
I know of at least three well known lefties that played rh guitars upside down ie: fat strings at bottom.
5. Care to name at least one?

Many great performers met untimely deaths by motorised mayhem.
Lets take a look see.
Can you pick the dead body?

6. Great blues axeman, helicopter prang in the 90s.
7. The definitive voice of Oz rock in a Morris 'land crab' [of all things] in the 80s
8. Great blues axeman motorcycle prang in the 70s.
9. Swaggering rocker hardly saw the 60s, car prang.
10. Lots of folks died in planes in the 50s. Im sure you can think of some!

The Earwig challenge:

Get your motor running
Head out on the highway
Looking for adventure
In whatever comes our way

Here god I’m gonna' make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once and
Explode into space

Cause you're a true natures child
We were born, born to be wild
We can climb so high
And never, want to die…

Born to be wild…
Born to be wild...

11. So who’s song is it?
And now you are humming it.
12. How long is it gonna take to get it outta your head?

13. There is no thirtheen question.
Unless of course, you can explain the old speedway superstition.
Of 'not painting racecars green'.
Then we can compare phobias.

The Shangri Las ‘Leader of the Pack’ is infamous for it’s cheesy lyric
[and production by phil spector]
But also as one of very few pop songs to have a motorcycle engine revving recorded in the track.
14. What was the motorcycle used?

15. While we are at it, name another artist to use a motorcycle engine 'revving' in a 'hit' pop song.

16. What motor cycle did “Eddie” famously ride in the Rocky Horror Picture Show?

17. Complete this phrase often seen above the bar in “Sweet Home Alabama” Club Houses.
What you see here and what you hear here…

18. What is the obvious connection between the Australian movie Stone, [72] and the Australian movie Mad Max? [77]

19. While we are at it. What was Max’s Surname?

20. Also while we are at it. What was the name of the patch club in Stone?
And why is it important these days?

21. Complete the phrase, You meet the nicest people on a …

OK Last Q.
Where is my next drink coming from?

Yeah I know, it's all over the place!

Hey! I do this for my own entertainment!

If it leavens your own leaden evening, then we both have something to laugh about.

Btw: There are no rules on answering.
Google if you must.
Post it, if you know.

Cheers Rusty.

On 14, I would guess it's either a Harley or Triumph (maybe even a BSA) given the era of the song.
