Is your computer room really hot?
Is the room containing your computer much warmer than the rest of your house/apartment?
I stepped out of my room to get some milk and it seemed really cold outside my room. After returning to my room, I checked the thermometer/barometer on the wall to see my room is a nice and toasty 81 degrees (about 27C).
Does anybody else here have a warm computer room? There's only 1 computer in my room btw.

Definitely hotter. I swear I can tell a difference when I overclock too. Maybe just my imagination.

My room is normally hotter than the rest of the house, but yes its terrible!
I keep my window open (at least cracked) almost entirely from fall to spring

8' X 8' room with four computers, 19" monitor, two printers, and a Southern-facing window. Yes it tends to get a bit toasty at times. I've seen it 92 deg. in here before even with the A/C going.

lol vass. I wouldn't dare open my window since it might freeze in the position of being open. I can't even open my window right now without using a screwdriver. I have to sort of pry it open since it's completely frozen to the window frame all the way around.

Nah never really noticed the PC getting too hot in the winter. It sits by a window that is so drafty it might as well be open. |

Computer is in living room. Average temp is 74F. Mornings and evenings it is usually around 72F or a bit lower.

Interestingly enough, No. My room is the coldest in the house, always, even colder than the kitchen.
Nice and frosty, I like to be cold.
