Is it just me or are some the responses to some of the threads going a bit overboard on the childish side?

I'm NOT talking about the Community BTW! (I reserve some rights here )

It seems we have had more than our share of 13 year old mentality responses of late.

Hard to tell sometimes if your responding to a serious thread or a put-on.

it wouldnt be too interesting unless its from a high post count peeps.

some 15 post dude saying "my cat died and I lost my reciept to this video card but I need to sell it now so my sister can get braces on her turtle"....that childish but not too troublesome, just silly.

We've had a few threads where folks have posted "examples" of what the saw as poor posts and threads. Turned into a bun fight everytime.

That's why I suggested not to post specifics. Share 'em by PM. Or ask a mod first if it's OK to post 'em as examples of poor taste threads.

well I said "hints" ..doesnt have to be cut and pasted....but if no examples are given, this whole thread is a waste cuz no one has a clue what he means, lol.

if i offend anyone, not saying i do.. ..
then bit....complain to me, and i will apologize, if i feel i acted poorly - which when i am upset can happen

I'm just a n00b here, but I am a member of several forums, and I would have to say that with the huge the number of members this forum has, the majority of people have been very helpful.

I think some are just not able to draw the line at the Community forum, and probably do not realize they are offending some of the members. I do not think that when this happens, a PM to the individual would be inappropiate. At least, then they would learn be more aware.
