Nice list.... but personally, The Joshua Tree would at least be top 15...

Five Beatles and three Dylan out of 25? Seems a little overweighted to me. Oh ... and four and two, respectively, in the top 10. Even more overweighted.

Guess Rolling Stone is not too "liberal" as they don't believe in diversity.

I agree with Cruez -- Zeppelin should be represented. I'd find a place for Cream, too. And they throw in one Miles Davis. If they are going to consider jazz, why only one represented?

It seems like the "Top 25" was written by the Baby Boomer generation.

Except for a select few, all of them are of that era.

I agree, U2 - The Joshua Tree should be there...it's just as impacting and popular as some of the other albums on that list.

ya heard that on the radio a while ago

sorry.. beatles are not THAT good to deserve that many spots ahead of so many great bands. Yes they're a role model for many but gimme a break... what they couldn't think of more bands to choose from?

I would have figured that a couple works from Pink Floyd could have made it in the top 25 as well.....
