Border Fence Plan Riles Environmentalists

Fox

"LOS ANGELES — Environmentalists in California are trying to block a federal plan to build a new security fence to prevent illegal immigrants from crossing into the United States from Mexico.
The 14-mile fence would accompany an existing 40-mile fence that has been credited with causing a massive drop in illegal border crossings since its construction in 1993. "

But environmentalists argue that the construction of a fence would disrupt the local ecosystem, cause erosion problems and damage the area where the Pacific Ocean meets the Tijuana River, now inhabited by rare birds and insects.
And your point would be? (Never mind; you picked it up from Faux News, so I know the answer...)

Just wait till Chuckie gets wind of this post.
BTW, I'm sure there is something could be worked out to appease the environmentalists AND slowdown the migration of IA's. Keep in mind people: Environmentalists are trying to protect YOUR planet as well.

Well let's see .........

Current fence stopped @ 190K illegals tramping across these eco stressed areas. This being in the middle of the night when these eco-migrants can't see if they're stepping on some endangered habitat, weed, flower, or insect.

Aren't these enviro people the same ones who want to make our national forests off-limits to American citizens because of the human impact on the habitat.
