Hypocrisy?

The National Coalition for the Protection of Children & Families is claiming pressure they brought on Abercrombie & Fitch about their racy holiday catalog caused the store to pull them from the shelves. A&F claims they merely needed space for other items.
Quote:
Maryam Kubasek, spokeswoman for the children's advocacy group, said she's not buying that explanation.

"Some would consider it ironic to pull a holiday catalog in the middle of the biggest shopping time," Kubasek told CNN/Money. "We're not going to get into a pissing match with them over what they're saying. The fact is Abercrombie is not backing away from its marketing strategy of promoting sexual promiscuity. So we will continue with our protests until that policy change."
Pissing match? Oh my virgin ears!! What about the children? The horror; the horror.

Geez.

This has, unfortunately, become a common expression in business.

Right; and the "National Coalition for the Protection of Children & Families" is a business.
