A classic example of missing the point

Outrage at UVa over the use of the "N-word" in a context that no one finds offensive:

Howell reported that the offender "said something like this: 'I can't believe in this day and age that there's a sports team in our nation's capital named the Redskins. That is as derogatory to Indians as having a team called Niggers would be to blacks.'"

And for this, people want to have the guy

make a public apology and take sensitivity training.

It should be pointed that the poor boob was trying to be politically correct.

This was NOT serious enough to warrant anybodies attention.
I don't use the n word myself but unfortunately in construction, in Indiana, it's used too much

Sad... Just mentioning any of those words is WRONG, WRONG!! It's all WRONG!! Especially considering he wasn't using it to insult anyone just to make a point.... Sigh.
