[RANT] Hotmail email links

it really chaps my butt that if you log into hotmail through their webpage, and click on any link you get in an email, it will open in a hotmail frame. which makes it impossible to use cookies and log into webpages and such. what is the point of it?!?! i have people emailing me saying they can't log into my site, and that has been the reason. friggin hotmail.

Yeah, it really is quite annoying, but Hotmail is safer than Outlook, and is the widest e-mail provider in the world, so what can ya do?

hotmail overall is horribly annoying
I don't like it all...

I use yahoo, its spam filter is pretty good and no annoying tactics... and its HORRIBLE that when you logout of hotmail you THROWN into msn.com and get popup hell

I agree. But I use it anyway.

If any important emails come in, i will just forward them to my Excite, or bellsouth account(depending on the email...) and open it from there.

I actually like Hotmail. The spam filter is top notch. I put it on the setting where it only filters out stuff that is obviously spam and it does one hell of a good job. I've stopped recieving those annoying forwarded messages from idiots who have an attachment of a mail that has an attachment that has an attachment that ends as a stupid test where the person put their answers to the test. Who the hell cares what your answers were? GRRRR!!! I don't care that your favourite color is green!

I just check hotmail using Outlook. I've got Norton there to stop scripts and what not.... something MS seriously should have done.
