My cousin got back from driving school a few days ago and she told me that starting Jan 1st, on all freeways in CA, there will be a very harsh enforcement of the 65mph speed limit. SUpposedly Davis signed into law legistlation that would place cameras on all freeways, and any violators of the 65mph limit would be sevierely punished....anyone's got any more details about that? Those living here in cali know how few people actually drive 65mph....

One of these days I'm going to get my license taken away.. At least where I live, they recently increased the speed limit from 100 to 110 on a roadway I use everyday.. km/h, that is.

i think they'd have some issues actually trying to get cameras to accurately enforce that especially in places with 8-10 lanes not to mention the fact that you'd have a billion cameras
after doing a liltte googling on the subject I can't find anything that is even close but I do see that some cities have started planning on doing some of this around schools and in residential....hmm sounds like maybe there might be a law in the works allowing camera speed enforcement wich BTW is supposed to be illegal according to state law as it is now or at least as I read it
