There is a swirling vortex circle in life. Most people end up forcing their way into it around 16-20, and it sucks them in and wont let go until they are old and wizened. I'm talking about getting a job! It is crazy what you have to do. For me to get a job, i have to be able to drive into town. To drive, ya gotta have a car. That costs money. You cant get the car without the money, and you need the job to get the money. ARRRG! Actually, I'm a little ahead of the game, since I have an old Lincoln TownCar I can use
So then you go to a place and get a job app, fill it out, and turn it back in. But is that good enough? Not in this day and age. You gotta call the manager and pester him about openings and such. Its like the dudes wont even read over your app till you have kissed their shoes and pleaded to get the graveyard shift. OK, maybe Im overdramatizing this a little. And im sure there are openings out there. Actually, I can get a job at McDonalds, but I refuse to degrade myself working fastfood with pimplefaced wannabegeeks, fat girls, and slightly autistic people(my apologies). OK, deep breath.....Im done now.
