Reminds me of the line in the John Cougar Mellancamp song "rain on the scarecrow"
The crops we grew last summer weren't enough to pay the loan
Couldn't buy the seed to plant this spring and the Farmers Bank foreclosed
Called my old friend Schepman up to auction off the land
He said John it's just my job and I hope you understand
Well calling it your job ol' hoss sure don't make it right
But if you want me to I'll say a prayer for your soul tonight
Dude ought not have a job anywhere. If the communitys came together and did the right thing, idiots like that would be out in the cold family and all, no mercy....everyone else would fall in line, and there wouldnt be a need for lawyers etc, lol.
of course it reminds me of another old (pretty much true) statement from a long time ago....."if you closed all the bars and liquor stores you could also close all the police stations"
