need help to ID a movie

iīve asked everyone i know IRL and they didnīt know
so maybe you guys can help me

itīs about a aircraft carrier that get trapped in a storm and it gets transfered back to 1942 the day before the attck on pearl harbour

do you know the name for it ?

The movie was "The Final Countdown" starring (among others) Kirk Douglas and Martin Sheen. BTW - Pearl Harbor happened in Dec 1941 - not 42.

Okay another one:

This is about a guy who was sentence live time imprissonment. He was charged for killing his wife but in reality he is innocent. He becomes the favourite of the prison manager. He becomes his accountant and transfers goverment money to a bankaccount of a fake person. This money is supposed to be for the manager but he escapes out of the prison and took of with the money to Mexico to start something with boots at sea. He left a small amount for his black friend he met in prison
under a vulkanized stone.
Ohyeah he started a library in the prison and this old guy who was initially the librarian hang himself after he was released.

It play in the 50ties I believe.

Any ideas?
