Term Limits

In California, the state officials (including the legislature) have term limts. I think rather than ending corruption, has created a bunch of inept fools, and MORE people on State pensions w/benefits. The pension of a one-term assemblyperson is $100K! Then they move on to commissions, where I"m sure they collect some more pensions!

Have you verified that the assemblymen get that much money after they retire? If so, it sounds like you have a petition drive to start. Luckily you could put forward a proposition for the people to vote on directly.

Don't you have term limits? They're called elections. Any time the people want someone new they could vote at the next election.
