http://www.anncoulter.org/
She's got it figured out pretty well!

The Democratic presidential candidates reacted with glee to the court's gay-marriage ruling, relieved that they could talk about gay marriage instead of their insane ideas on national defense. But then they realized this meant they would have to talk about gay marriage | |

Opinions are like A-holes - everyone's got them. This is another idiotic statement from the sexually frustrated childless 40 something woman* to join her other idiotic statements, such as, she regretted that 'Timothy McVeigh did not blow up the New York Times building,' 'Bill Clinton should have been impeached or murdered,' and called for the 'execution of John Walker Lindh in order to intimidate liberals.'
You can say what you want about liberals but even though Bush really lost the election, is an illegitimate president and has horrible policies, no liberal has crossed-the-line and called for his assassination.
*It would be really funny, now that the anti-drug Rush is a known drug addict, if Ann Coulter was a suppressed closet gay. It would certainly explain her behavior.

"I'll resist the temptation to characterize this ruling as "shoving gay marriage down our throats." "
I thought this was a voluntary decision between two people. How's it shoving it down?
"....these judges are in the wrong job."
And Ann Coulter is competent to make that judgement?
"...so Republicans don't have to lie. "
Look no further than the President.
This article is ludicurous.
Or rather, the author is.

How can anyone enjoy articles that are filled with bias, bent/thin facts, superficial and mediocre provocations and a very low and vulgar style?

You have to understand where Ann Coulter comes from. A sensationalist, she serves as a mouth piece for the extremists in the GOP.
Most mainstream Republicans reject her as being too wacko and actually hurting their agenda with her strident style. Of course, FOX News loves her. They speak the same language.
Had she been a little intelligent, she'd have moderated her screams somewhat and said the same things in a subtle and diplomatic way and furthered her agenda, whatever that may be. By emulating a Bull in a china shop, she receives little attention except for ridicule. If you have seen her on TV, she comes off even worse.
And her ideas of guns is so wacko nobody but hardened criminals would welcome it.

Anyone see Doonesbury a week ago last Sunday? It portrayed an interview with Coulter and, at the end, implied that she was speaking from a mental facility. It was brutal!
Shahani, I almost wrote something similar to what you pointed out -- how is anyone "shoving" anything "down our throats" ?
Or, more particularly, hers? Heck, I wouldn't wish her on my worst enemy.
