It hurts thinking about the ones that got away. I've been happily married for 13 yrs and I sometimes think about old girlfriends.

The consolation is that if you identify the qualities that you want and wait for what for someone like that, you will get someone.

What constitutes a "nice" girl? Definitions sometimes are our downfall, the media now constitutes the perfect woman which actually falls in the unhealthy, unreal, unable to reach ideal. Everyone has faults, the most healthy relationship comes with work and acceptance. Draboo and I have been together a long time and boy did it take some work, there is no perfect man or woman out there. Seeking perfection only brings loneliness.

Reason I'm asking is compatibility may be an issue here.

But seeing as how you're low mileage and low to average maintenance, just do what the peeps above suggest-- don't actively hunt but kinda lay low and let them find you.

Yes to me, a clean girl is priceless and I wouldn't mind being there for her whenever she would need me. If I spent as much time working on my car as I did talking to this last girl, it would be running 8 second quarter miles by now.

This is true. Last year I was hungry. I got nothing. This year I thought I was "taken" and paid girls no attention. I ended up with a girl from class writing her number on my dorm room door.

Due to the way the female brain works (this is not a put-down..just fact) vs the way the male brain functions, there never has been..nor will there ever be a female that will think or do logically except where it affects them, their life and children.

Most all females are born to believe in companionship, family as well as outside the family..she will achieve this one way or another. If it means hurting someone else by her come-ons, so be it. The end always justifies the means.

By high maintenance I mean a kid who needs constant attention, nurturing, money and so on.

By low mileage I mean girls who haven't been around, if you get my drift.

Bottom line: Play hard to get (but not too hard or it may backfire) and don't look hungry. Look mean and angry by all means but not desperate.
