40 years ago: JFK

i was listening to a replay of the
radio broadcast live from Dallas
the day he was shot.
the live news broadcast said they thought the shot came fro m the grassy knoll.
=========================
my favorite JFK quote
(when asked why he planned to
send a man to the moon)
"we propose these things not because they will be easy, but because they will
be hard."
=========================
God rest him.

Yep...his life as well as all of the Kennedy's have been a documentary of the History Chanel all week from dusk to dawn. Really really interesting people that I have never seen or heard of before were in it. One of LBJ's concubines said she knows he had his fingers in the assassination.. Oswald had a girlfriend...she said he was with her the night before, and he told her things that would happen, and that he would be blamed probably.

Of course, 40 years later..all kinds of nuts are coming out of the wood work, but it was interesting.

What would the world have been like if he would have lived.

No Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society"
No Richard Nixon's "Peace with Honor"
No Jimmy Carter's "runaway stagflation"
No Ronald Reagan's "Mr. Gorbachev! Tear down this wall!"
No George Seniors "Iraq"
No Bill Clinton's "Chinagate"
No George, Jr's "Iraq 2"

Scary ain't it! All of these problems and historical incidents would have been either handled by different men, or bumped out on the time line.

Oswald did it as a lone nut. Most never figure that adrenaline and luck played a very big factor in hitting President Kennedy and Governor Connolly. Oswald probably couldn't have done it again.

Remember Ockham's Razor?

The single-shooter theory has been reinforced over and over by the conspiracists themselves.

I saw the 3 hour documentary last Sunday and looks like it was Oswald alone. That as well as the unnecessary cover ups done by CIA and FBI spooks each trying to CYA.

My impression is it was Oswald alone though influenced by Marxist/Castro ideologies and a wacko brain.

The 1976 Congressional investigation concluded that there WAS at least one more gunman. They used computer analysis of the tape of the shooting (a policeman kept his finger on the radio mic which was recorded at HQ.) From the analysis, they could tell which sounds were echos and which were original shots. The shots came from different places.

What makes me think there was a conspiracy is the fact that in a criminal investigation, as time goes on, more information appears and the picture of what happened gets clearer. In this, the picture got muddier. Evidence disappeared. Witnesses died mysteriously. THE PRESIDENT'S BRAIN DISAPPEARED - a piece of evidence that could determine trajectory! How does that happen? This was a black op. (see works by Col. L. Fletcher Prouty)http://www.ratical.com/ratville/JFK/GoD.html

According to the Warren Commission, the first shot, the "miracle bullet" designed and dreamed up by one of its lawyers (Arlen Specter), is one of the most fascinating contrivances of our generation. Forced to account for a series of unrelated events, Arlen Specter came up with a weird solution. He says the first bullet hit JFK, passed through the muscle of his upper back exited from his lower throat, traveled a few feet in the air, changed course, and entered Connally's back, plunged through his body, broke about five inches of one of his right rib bones, came out again, and then slammed into his right wrist, where it broke two more bones, exited again, and then pierced his thigh and ended its strange journey embedded in his thigh bone.

An interpretation of this thesis, based on photographic and medical evidence, means the bullet would have had to have made a right and upward turn upon leaving JFK's throat, paused in midair for more than two seconds, made a left and steep downward turn as it entered Connally's back, made a right and upward turn as it left Connally's chest, passed through Connally's wrist in the direction backward from the way his wrist was facing, made another left and downward turn, then wound up in Connally's left thigh.

The Mafia would like you to think they had their paws in it. It would make them so powerful. The CIA were a bunch of stumblebums back then.

Only a single gunman could have carried it out. Loose lips sinks ships.

People have such an idealistic view of John Kennedy, it seems so insignificant that he would be killed by a nut. Reagan's nut missed.

Who killed Warren G. Harding?

There is sufficient evidence of a conspiracy. The photo of Oswald holding the rifle is a confirmed fake http://jfkassassination.net/russ/inf...6/hscbkyd.htm.

If Oswald fired as the lone gunman, he would have needed to fire through an Oak tree, as one was blocking his few at the spot where Kennedy was killed. Interestingly, the Warren Com never saw that evidence.
