i just bought this cd today.. with all this riaa bs going on, and american albums being worth less then the cds they are put on, i thought i would post a quick review about something worthwhile.
background info:
T.M. Revolution is a japanese "band" - its a guy, named Takanori Nishikawa (T.M. Revolution stands for Takanori Makes Revolution, if i remember my Nov. Newtype)
The music is kind of pop, kind of rock, and kind of techno - its japanese.. its hard to describe, but its awesome
anime fans may be familiar with some of his work, he did the opening song for Rounin Kenshin (sp?) and more recently some songs for Gundam Seed
even if you have never heard japanese music before, you may like this, its nothing like american music, its well, good, so if you like any of the above genres you may want to check this out
so here is the review:
9.8/10 - wheres my second seed ending?
the price: around $15, at suncoast
also available on
http://www.tofurecords.com for about the same, or less
the songs: there are 12 songs
1 ABORT//CLEAR
2 Out of Orbit - Triple ZERO (phase shift mix)
3 INVOKE
4 Meteor
5 NEO SPHERE
6 BRIGADE
7 Juggling - acoustic GTR "turbo" starter -
8 Tide Moon River
9 BOARDING (phase shift armored version)
10 INVOKE (TV opening version)
11 THUNDERBIRD (version "in the force")
12 (bonus track) HEART OF SWORD - YOAKE MAE (Before Dawn)
(listing taken from tofurecords since im too lazy to type it)
The music is incredible, its all excellent, and the only thing i wish it had was the 2nd Gundam Seed ending song.
Picks:
3 Invoke - Gundam Seed First opening song
4 Meteor - My favorite song of the Gundam Seed series. they play it in one of the recap eps, ep 35, and an ep near the end, more i think, but i dont remember
12 Heart Of Sword - Of course. this is the opening for rounin kenshin (sp?)
now, why post a review on a japanese cd when most of you couldnt care less? because, this is the first time in a LONG time, that i have bought a cd, and not regretted it after hearing it, even only halfway through, i was well satisfied.
If american artists and the RIAA cared about their fans, at all, and if it was as much as the Japanese artists/labels care (seemingly at least, they may be great actors

), then they wouldnt have all these issues they are having now. PLUS i got an awesome little card with a pic of TMR and some info on him, i never have gotton any bonus stuff in an american cd (you may argue this cd was made for american release, i think it was, but you understand my point!)
if you read this, thanks, if not, well, i thought i may as well say it anyway
