Star Trek: Enterprise

What do people think of ST:E? I've been watching it fairly regularly and think the 3rd season is much stronger than the 2nd--but am wondering if the 2nd was bad enough that the show can't recover. Anyone else got an opinion?

I've generally been a fan and the show is definitely improving.

Well i only have seen like 10 episodes of it, from the first season that is, i think it's pretty good.

I also have been a fan for quite sometime, although there are still alot of DS9 episodes i have to see (the ones here that have DS9 are always throwing episodes through each other, and then they stop again, and then they start from the beginning or whatever again...) and many original StarTrek episodes, they were never really aired here, i only saw quite a few from the BBC.

I stopped watching it season 2 because it got or artsy fartsy. Unless they are running around the universe kicking arse and taking names I find the shows lose it.

They go through these periods like DS-9 where they get all PC and they end up spending the next 5 years trying to overcome the loss of interest.

Currently they are in a KA mode and it is fun to watch them squirm out of their tight spots.

Used to watch it until they moved Smallville to Wednesdays. Haven't seen it this season much.

I think Enterprise is pretty good. Some episodes do get boring but most of them are interesting. But then even at the height of DS9's popularity (the Dominion War IMO) they had a few boring episodes. If you're a true fan you can forgive the bad episodes.

I'm totally old school--just the original Star Trek for me!

The local channels here pretty much doomed Enterprise from the start. They'd move it's time around from week to week to accomodate sports, end result being you never knew when it was on unless you just happened to catch it. Entire first season was like that, so I gave up long ago & have no idea if it's still on!
