I don't see how. Its Murder One according to me and these people need to be put away for the rest of their pathetic lives.

Sleep walking where child keeps hurting themselves.

Sneaking out at night to be with gang/ or do drugs.

1 time punishment for setting fires in the living room at night.

I don't know yet. Not my preferred method of dicipline but too soon to say what the reasons were.

You have to prove intent for murder one, Shahani, you know that. But I don't disagree with the rest of your statement.

NO excuse for chaining a child to the bed!

Burn MFers Burn! I'm not advocating that this is 1st degree murder...we don't know for sure what really happened. Just pisses me right off to think that she could have survived without those damn chains.

I can see excuses. At least slightly warped ones.

If they felt the act of chaining a kid to the bed for the night because they had been doing something self destructive.

It all depends on howlong this had been going on, what the kid had been doing. I don't agree with the method but that is my opinion. I can see situations where a parent would be driven to this thinking it was in the interest of the child.

The example of a 1 or two night thing where the childs destructive behavior risks injury to the child or family. A little piro or violent sleep walker who tends to fall down stairs.

A method to protect the child until they can get professional help.

It also could be plain child abuse where they chain the kid up in the room every night because they are not pretty enough or just because.

Could very well have died long ago with out the chains.

It would've had to have been one HELL of a raging inferno for me to not even TRY to save my daughter.

Of course I wouldn't have chained her to a bed in the first place.

Don't know why you're defending them, Ep, other than maybe to say they are human too. But I don't think many people can identify with that. I know I can't.
