My dad has called me "Fuzz" ever since I can remember, because I've always had very very fuzzy hair. Fortunately, no one ever sees it (nor has anyone ever seen it, nor will anyone ever see it) in it's natural form. (Kisses bottle of hair product..)
One of my best friends has started calling me "Banan" (I don't know why).. But I'll tolerate it, considering that her nickname is "TURD"...
That's it, that's all. |

No nickname. My folks carefully picked a name for me -- Paul -- that didn't have any nickname variants. And, as far as I know, I never did anything that would suggest a nickname like "Three Fingers," or "Gimpy," or "Shakey".

Well, Surprisingly enough being a Christopher, 'Chris' is my most common referral!
Of course, friends being who they are, 'Mushroom' is a common one, due to my old hair cut (like when I was 12!), or 'Pudding basin'...
I added to those to come up with OLM (One Little Mushroom) as a online nick (similar to TMX468), but it didn't really stick so much...

As you might have guessed my first name is Robert. Bob or Bobby
was my nick name until age 13 or 14. At that time I stopped answering to Bobby. At family gatherings (lots of nieces and nephews) Uncle Bob.

I've been called "Little Mike" back when I was a kid because the older kid I hung out, well, we called him "Big Mike" so I kinda got stuck with that for a while.
In High School my friends called me "Ster". It came about from a bunch of rambling on one night using different varients of my last name and other phrases, ultimately ending up with "Ster", which is basically my last name without the AG in it. My brother ( younger ) was thusly called "Mini-Ster" .
Nowadays it mostly consists of being called "Hey, You!"

Ive had so many I lose track...but evidently its ironic turnabout because I have recently been reminded that as a teen I created virtually everyone elses nicks that stick with them even to this day, lol. And that was over 20 yrs ago! lol.
Most of mine have nothing to do with my real name, lol.
Stu. (Stu Thomsen was my hero from my BMX days, early 80s). stubomb. Stubomb M turk. (a variant of "stu" and "newbomb turk" from the "hollywood knights" movie). Sanchez. Chico. Blue. Freddy (from nightmare on elm street, lol). Some of the nics were short lived..some only a day or two, lol.
But if I run into dudes that I grew up with they still call me "stu" or "stubomb". Once when we were playing softball, I got up to bat and my teammates starting chanting..quiet at first..."stubomb, stubomb, stubomb"..they kept getting louder and louder and finally the umpire was gonna call me out if they didnt stop, lol.
Edit..oh yeah "JJ" and "Willy". those were cool nicks from my airforce days..they were cool cuz only 1 dude called me each of those names, lol.

I can't keep track how many nick names I have had. Some good, and others, well....
Let's stick to the ones related to my name. - Mike, Mikey, Mick, Mickey, several variants in Japanese form. |
