Bombs Hit Istanbul Synagogues
If someone can offer an explanation of this that isn't the equivalent of pure, virulent antiSemitism, I'd like to know what it is. It's enough to make an anti-Zionist, atheist, assimilated Jew like myself think "Holocaust."
Turkey is not exactly a major Jewish center. Jews are about 0.04% of the population, and the influence of Turkish Jews on Turkish government policy approaches zero.

CM, what do Jews in Turkey have to do with Sharon? 60 years ago, the U.S. was at war with Italy. Americans didn't blow up Italian restaurants. Moreover, I seem to remember about two years ago, both you and I argued that Americans should not avenge 9/11 by condoning violence against Arab Americans. You didn't say, 'Arab attacks. Bin Laden's fault.'
One cannot use Israel as an excuse for bigotry led violence.

I'd call up every soldier, reservist and search from house to house and execute any one with any illegal arms or intelligence on the spot and run it on all the television stations. Weed them out and send a message !!!!!!!!!!!

Jews have been targeted throughout history. It is easier to blame the Jews than to find solutions to real problems.
