Is this a good warranty?
Ok, for my fledgeling computer business, lol. I am home based so am not 'sposed to have peeps come here for any reason except lessons..so I cant just have a "bring in" warranty.
Here are my thoughts. To keep it somewhat simple I have 3 warranty options. I imagine my prices are a little on the "lite" side possibly.
Anyway, wahddya think of these options?
option 1.

no warranty----> subtract -$25 from cost of used comp
-$50 from cost of new comp
$50 per service call
------------------------------------------------------
standard warranty no cost
used--45 days....$15 per service call
new--6 months...$15 per service call
$50 per call afterwards
----------------------------------------------------------
Entended warranty + $50
used--6 months--one free visit $15/visit afterwards
new-- 1 year....one free visit, $15/visit afterwards
$50 per call afterwards
Any feedback on those ideas??
And of course my idea is to have ghost cd's of all my comps...and the warranty wont cover software issues except to restore it to "new" condition. No warranty on programs they add, or hardware they add etc.
Other exclusions will just be standard stuff like
no warranty for physical damage, abuse
" " laptop battery
" " data loss
etc.
