PETA mad at Girl Scouts

PETA is outraged that Girl Scouts in Alaska are being taught to trap and kill beavers.

Of course, no one from PETA has actually seen a real live beaver, but they look cute and furry on Animal Planet, so the Girl Scouts shouldn't be allowed to kill them.

I don't see the problem here. You'd think they'd support this.

Give a girl a beaver, she eats for a day. Teach her to trap, she eats for a lifetime.

This is exactly the kind of dumb sh*t that I'd expect. Trapping is a part of life in Alaska. Its historical. Furthermore, Alaskan natives are allowed to hunt certain species that are otherwise protected because of tribal / native cultural rituals.

Should we end this because of some vague concept that its "wrong?"

PETA may have a point with factory farming, but when it comes to the idea that killing an animal is wrong because an animal has feelings, that's utter bull. If that's the case, then all wild animals are murderers. I'm sorry, there's a natural balance and order to things, an idea called the food chain, and frankly, I support the girl scouts in what they are doing 100%.

Oh and I love the "if there's a problem with an animal you don't kill it."

No? What do you do when the deer swarm the forests (because there are no more wolves) until they are all starving to death? Ship them elsewhere to create the problem again? Neuter them all?

No, you shoot them. And by all means, shoot the beavers too.

Next, when will the cute little furry things be able to vote?

It took a bit of work to get on TOP of the food chain!

Sounds like we need to unleash Maddox on these guys.

WARNING: The above link takes you to a website containing lots of bad words, violence, talk about violence, and reasons why you're favorite movies suck. Rated PG-13, so no one below 13 please see it...for all our sake!
