Illegal Immirgrants in our schools

I just heard on the news that the US is spending over $7,000,000,000.00 every year to teach illegal immigrants in our public school system. One of the interviewed persons said that amount of money could put an up-to-date laptop on the desk of every single middle school student in America.

PRO: They are our future, they need to be taught just like everybody else.

Con: They are taking away money from kids who deserve it.

I simply didn't understnad this 1 percent. Teaching illegal immigrants? Why? What about our kids!? What about me! I'm 17, going off to colledge, I live in a small town, I go to an underacheiving school, we don't have a lot of books, and the governemnt is thinking of shutting us down. And 7 BILLION is being spent on people who don't even want to be apart of this country?

I don't even have the words. I can't think of ONE good thing about this other than it's kids getting taught. But that is no excuse for the amont of money it is wasting or the example it sets for our national immigration system.

How do these kids even get in? When I moved into this town, we have to give a current bill that showed residency, a birth certificate, and a social security number. How is this happening? I't makes me so angry!

I think they should be kicked out of the schools immediatley. Let the children of hard-working americans get an education before it's givin to criminals.

That 7 billion dollars represents seed money for future Democratic votes when they are of age. By then they will have been in this country long enough to figure out that we don't enforce our voting citizenship laws any more than we enforce our immigration laws.

Welcome to the new California. Hospital emergency rooms are going broke and closing. Education is a shambles since these illegals require special programs and the budgets aren't there. Prison populations are exploding becuse not only do we have to house our own criminals, we got the foreigners in jail too.

I'm on record as strongly against illegals, but I gotta admit I'm torn on this one.

Our local schools flat out stink, my kids are NOT getting an education anyway!

My take on it: Unless they roll back the taxes and deny the funds to the horrible system which exists, then why not let the illegals have it? Somebody ought to get what I'm paying for!

It's a small number of kids that want to learn, but really can't learn.

I see more Americans skipping school, not taking advantage of the school system, and being lazy... Most illegals, or even immigrants, actually come here and work hard.

There are not enough Amercians getting sick in america. Docters aren't getting enough patients. Therfore the governmetn doesn't get more money.

I say we start taking people in from other counties, countries that we don't even have ties with, and treat their wounded for free. Give them all the prescriptions for free, all their medical needs for free.

In the event that your child needs medical attention. Well, its a number game, and this illegal man from some country is just as good as your daughter.

Most people who steal cars actually need the money for good reasons. They need to feed their families. They are people too.

I think that is where the whole system fails again. If an illegal citizen comits a crime, we put them in jail instead of just deporting them. Now your tax dollars go to housing, feeding, and clothing people who aren't even Americans.

If they have kids, I would guess they would go the same route as an American with children goes. The children are taken into child protective services.

pro: 1. they want to learn if they are in school
2. better helping people with this money than finding it in swiss bank accounts
3. immegrants are human too, americans are not a kind of super-humans, with special DNA, so every human should be treated the same way. we have a lot of immegrants in switzerland, and i say: who cares? ok the neo-nazis hate them (stupid righties ), but they can live here because they are the future for our country, switzerland is a mixture of every european country because we are in the middle of europe, in my class are people from: sweden, thailand (i think), newzealand, greece, italy, germany, dutch, finnland. i think thats all out of 20 person! (me is half hungarian and half italien BTW ) i'm off topic sry!
3. look at how much money you pay for senseless weapon tests! i think that's much more than $7,000,000,000
