Friends,
Scott and his team have a heavy task burdeoned upon them, especially since being let go from INT Media Group. There is no need for delving back into the mushes of that unfortunate escapade, and I apologize for riling up these incidents of the past.
While it never compared in size or grandure, I soley maintained and paid for my own information website, which concerned the topic of voice recognition. This was a mountainous task, especially for a 12 year old. Now age 15, I understand all the greater the financial commitments and the efforts of time a well presented website requires.
It is because of this meager experience that I felt I had at least an educated opinion to present.
While I do apologize for my vexing comments, I feel justified by something Sam Walton (WalMart) once said:
Quote:
| "The key to success is to get out into the store and listen to what the associates have to say." |
I see us, the users, as the associates - and when there is an issue of emotion and altercation in the midst, it is only right to put it out on the table and discuss it - even if that means singling myself out and placing my name and reputation at the mercy of such comments.
Many would argue that no apology is warranted, but I feel it necessary to admit when I'm wrong - and I'm wrong.
I've been wrong before, and I hope I'm wrong again - because if I've made a lifetime of mistakes by age 15, theres not much to look forward to...
Come on guys - I love this site as much as you, I just have different ways of showing it. I see TechIMO doing great things, things that no other site could even conceptualize - I just want to make sure it is always operating at full capacity, and to its full potential.
I look forward to contributing a great deal to TechIMO, mostly in the form of articles, and I hope all involved can see past this misguided turmoil and move forward with a positive attitude into the new year.
Sincerely,
Michael Morelli
