[rant] angry grrr...

i, like many others, have been visiting and using message boards for years. also like others, i try to obey forum rules whenever possible. i recently joined this message board which i will leave un named and they have a catagory on there to show off your personal website, on one condition, that you post the link once and only once. well naturally i did so and obeyed the rules. well now my topic gets locked by this ---hole of a moderator. i start a new thread asking why it got locked (expecting this new thread to get locked also, but he wasnt answering pm's). of course, that one gets locked too but he tells me the reason my first thread was locked was because i didnt obey forum rules and posted my link more than once. i cant remember posting it twice and went back over every post i made and double checked to make sure. i dont know whether he is seeing double, drunk, stupid, or just plain mean, but i am royally pissed off. i wish i could get his password and screw with his account or something. get him banned hehehehe. ggrrrrrrrrr.....

That's when you know you've joined the wrong message board. The best way to handle this situation is to PM the admin and have him resolve the issue...AND GIVE US THE FORUM NAME!!! WE'LL SPAM THEM TO THE KINGDOM COME!!!!! j/k

Glad it got fixed, Drew. Sometimes these little probs are simply little misunderstanding which blow up to become big issues.

Lazy mods, it takes like 10 secs to find out if a person has posted more of those topics

Just do a search on the persons name and get all the posts from that person in that specific forum, you can then just see all the posts made there, and you can see if it was posted once or twice.

Everyone can make a mistake, but if a person continues to ask why, then surely he would only open his mouth untill he is sure.
