Where is the FRIGGIN content?

Excuse mua...but I failed to notice those "reviews and articles" we were promised...I know it takes time to get a site on its feet, but THIS IS LUDICROUS...

Do you people honestly expect the viewers to supply your website with content? We have a hard enough job maintaining some form of intelligent conversation in the forums - and now we have been given the job of writing news and reviews???!?!

WHERE'S OUR PAY CHECK?

WHAT DO WE GET FOR HELPING OUT?

WHAT....5 MEASELY POINTS???

Please tell me no....

TechJumper again

WHAT!!?!?!?!!? WAS THAT A POP UP AD?.....good LORD

Yo, Techjumper, tell me something. It's obvious you're mad. But, are YOU paying anything to be on the Forum? I mean nothing's free, Right? So the money/resourses have to come from someplace? Right?

Go figure.

I also feel your adjectives are inappropiate and convey Nothing.

I don't think scott's getting rich off of TechIMO. I'm just happy to have a comunity where I can get together with some of the best people in the industry and just have intelligent conversations (well most of the time ).

I think you do have a point though. But I think it is we who should be doing more reviews, previews, tips, tweaks, and articles!

Good Lord indeed.

I propose you conduct an experiment: Post a technical question here, and post one at some other site. See which one gets the quickest, most helpful, and accurate response.

Then again you could always go somewhere else.

Hey bud.... if you don't like it.. nobody is forcing you to stay.

I didn't go to Anandtech for the articles, or news etc.... Heck, I forgot they even had a front page.... this site is driven by the forum, and if you can get some people to help out by contributing some measly news articles then what is the big deal. This site is not meant as a news site....

If you want a good forum... here it is.... if you don't like it... go aomewhere else, please.

I'm sorry but - I like it here -

Nothing is perfect - but then if it was spiderman would have nailed the taliban to the bridge in NY before they pulled thier act of war.

kenny would never get killed! -

and the roadrunner would get caught - just once!

j/ks all - hope your laughin - If your not - thats ok

I would rather have reviews from us who use the stuff than some gent - who got it free and is repping them on the side - and selling junk

[ eye twiching voilently -] IOMEGA - ?@#!$%^&***&(())!

As for whether scott makes money on this - ? I hope someone is -

[shrug] that feels better - wiz

A legitimate question even if it was phrased in a way that PO some. Maybe it's time for a reality check.

As for the popups . . . I don't see them with Opera 6.0. But sometimes I run that other browser and click them.

Well, I think that if a member of the board wrote a review on something, it would "hold more ground" with me versus someone's who is paid to write about something they got free.

TechJumper Unless you plan to help pay keeping this BB running I wouldn't complain about the pop-ups that help bring income to keep a site like this a float. I think Scott and everyone else are doing a good job doing this right now.Think about countless hour to get the site up and maintaining it and all for free to the members. I like this place and plan to stay, and a few adds don't hurt me feelings. If you don't like what you see sorry but their are many people here that would differ very much. Thanks Scott and the crew for have a great bb that has and will continue to help many greatfull people out.
