Accountant fees etc?

I am trying to get a small biz going.

Just talked to an accountants office...scheduled an appointment.

They charge $110/hr.

I tried not to gulp too much on the phone.

IS that about ballpark??

Evidenly it wont necessarily be a lot of meeting during the year since I have no employees etc. Basically I guess they just get you going then you keep up with cash in/out and expenses etc.

Does that sound like an average fee?? The dude comes highly recommended.

if your operating a small biz you can probably get lower hourly fee, the small time guy, or the guy that's not been on his own very long and is building up his clientele, you'll get twice as much work outta him at half the price i'd wager... also if you live in a large city, take a drive out to those smaller towns, they'll be cheaper as well...
