Got a new Radeon!!

9800 pro!!

Of course, the second I took it out of the box, I had to rip it apart.

Bye Bye old P2 heatsink; hello RAMSINKS!

OH yea! the back is done!

With the water-block added.

As you can see, while the back ramsinks have 4 rows of fins, the top ones only have 3 becuse I had to break the last row off inorder for the water-block to fit. The ram modules were placed perfectly around the hose barbs too. phew.

Awesome -but aren't the radiator pipes difficult to maintain? Leakage?

I'm sure there are better ways to cool. But then I don't know that much about overclocking.

Very nice skills there, Joker.

You don't happen to be a member of any PC Modification sites, do you? (if not, I got a long list where you'd fit right in )

Any benchmarks? Comparisons w/H2O cooling and non-H2O cooling? Do you have it OC'ed (I know you do!) and if so what are the core/mem speeds?

Have you some stock results to compare to your modded efforts?
That would be "cool"...

tubes are 1/2" ID 3/4" OD. Extra thick walls prevents leaks and kinks.

I got started overclocking it today.

It took about 1 hour to finish and that is because I had to wait for the epoxy to dry for each side.

It's running at 28C right now along with a 31C CPU.
