Captioned Rant

[rant on]Three movies tony goes and picks up. Not one of them have closed captioend abilities nor english subtitles only spanish!!!

All of them are new releases. AFAIK either english closed captions and/or english subtitles are required! [/rant off]

Whats the deal here?
so he went and took the movies back. So haveta pick something else since we only have a DVD and can't bother iwth the VHS ones. Grrr. Guess gonna have to pick up a cheapy VHS box. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Never have found one in VHS that was not closed captioned. DVD seems run into that but not for a long time this is the first. I mean what are the odds? 3 brand new releases none of them english captioned or subtitles?

Huh! Odd. Maybe Spanish movies think they don't need subtitles or Closed-Captioning?

that is the thing these are NOT spanish movies. ugh.

Movie titles were:

Code breaker or something like that.
a Michael Moore Movie, (never seen one of his that was not captioned.)
and the kid's Bike squad movie.

No not a glitch in the system, all the boxes if they are captioned are required to have the CC sign in a box. none of them have it. He didn't think to check to see if there was one cuz its been a long time since we gotten a movie with no captions. this time all 3 of them. GRrrrrrrrr Still waiting for him to get back. He was not in a good mood. He won't let me watch'm if there are no captions, he knows that i won't understand it at all and he doesn't want me to "suffer silently" he is a sweethart.

sure MS doesn't own that?
Get an upgrade but you get less options
