how much are some Caruso records worth

My Grandma wanted me to find how much her collection of old Caruso records are worth. They are 78rpm ?clay? records. My grandpa said clay, I'm not sure if he was jokeing, records are far before my time

Any way I checked ebay but the prices were fairly low. Maybe that is the actual price. I think that would be dissapointing to her so I was wanting to check if there were other places to look? I checked google but couldnt' really find much.

The caruso records of themselves wont have a great amount of worth. But are the sleeves/covers for them in good shape? The better shape they are in generally the better price you will get(your mileage will vary). Value depends greatly on how few or many of the records were made and the size of the audience Caruso had when he was popular.
