Why would it bother you that some people wish to speak to loved ones or business associates on the train.

Personally I would assume that they were making use of wasted time either to further relationships or improve their businesses.

So you contend that they should simply waste an hour. To what ends?

What a stupid head. There is about 0 reason to recover a phone from a public toilet. First off it is icky, secondly it wont work, thirdly all information on it is now lost. Oh yeah and Icky (did I say Icky?)

It's possible he had a belt-clipped phone and was not speaking on it. If he needed to squat, the phone can become dislodged from your hip/ loosened belt and take a watery dive.

Epidemic: Perhaps a new thread is in order about the cell phone? Do you really think the majority of people are talking to loved ones or business associates? Apparently you haven't been in too many shopping malls; or on too many college campuses?

The Train will probaly be require to put up signs in the Toilet reading something like...

2 - Harzard - No cell phones in Toilet ..may cause injury.

because, my friend, the people im talking about are the ones who talk so loud like they are at home and the t.v. is loud. the ones im talking about arent on the phone for a quick question, they talk the whole time, and loudly i might add redardless of the announcements about using cell phones and being courteous to other passengers.

i use my cell phone on the train too, dont get me wrong, if i have to, but i dont talk like im talking to a deaf person. its just flat out rude. some people just dont give a sh** basically.
