Clean Those PM Boxes
Nothing serious, I just wanted to drop a quick reminder to those close to reaching the maximum private message storage limit. I know some people never bother looking on the main forum page at their current count, then wonder why they can't receive private messages.
Near or exceeding PM limits:
PresterJohn
billniceguy
Lemon[H]ead
Brangwen
Eli
U.S.TechPatriot
golfcart
ClubMed
otheos
Hawkeye
Cody
George VII
cyphen
You guys must be popular, I rarely ever receive any private messages.
Catch ya' later,
Robert Richmond

How close is near for you? I should be up there somewhere as I haven't cleaned mine for a while...
I wish we had the SavePM app Ruler was working on a while back. I hate deleting all of them, and it's a hassle having to save text manually for each one.
Anyone seen a similar app anywhere?
Thanks
Mick

This must be the next best thing to a company memo.

OK, Rob - just what IS the limit anyway? And where do you find a count such as Gohan quoted? All I see is: "Ed_S - You have 0 new message(s) since your last visit.
(You have 0 unread messages and 88 total messages in all your folders.)"
Is the limit based on # of messages, or on space consumed?
I KNOW I'm flirting with "the limit" as I've hit it several times recently and have only cleaned out a few things since!
I guess I should copy the older stuff that I don't want to lose & then delete it...

Limit is 121 AFAIK. And if you scroll to the bottom of the forums homepage (whilst logged in as you ) You'll see the number. It's been missing for a while, but like Ahnold, it's back!!
Cheers
Mick

Yeap, the limit is 121, well really 120, but it takes the 121st message to lock the account from receiving any more messages until cleaned.
