weird email

I was just clearing out my email when i saw a title that said something to the effect of free norton virus scan. normally i just delete it for the spam that it is, but this time I didn't. Inside was a long "western" story. after the story was an ad/link to the site for the free disk. The story was actually pretty good. I was little confused by it, though.

If it really was from McAfee, then they must have a bored employee whose job it is to make these emails. he's got some talent.

Has anyone else recieved an email like this? also, if you want the story from the emial just say so, and i'll post it.

I'd toss it, probably linkage to the thiny would send virus onto your disk. I had one email not to long ago. I didn't dare click on a link and sent a screen shot of it to someone i know and they told me what it was. was royyal mad, but thankful that I didn't click on the link cuz one you do they automatically start billing you some how. Anyhow just toss anything that looks like spam or questionable and if it makes you confused toss it even harder.

thats not what i was saying. this is about the story in the email. i never click on links in spam mail.
