anyone else a pathological count-downer?
i always count down. and for no good reason. like getting out of bed, or getting something to eat, trying to guess when the light will turn green, waiting for the bus to come. i just start counting down from 10 and when i reach one i do it. sometimes anyway, sometimes i just start all over

I am more of a pathological count upper ( ) I find myself counting how many steps I am taking, I count lights while I am driving, I pretty much do it without even thinking about it, then all of the sudden I realize I am counting and feel a little, well |

ah, so you are a counter of objects det? i have done that a few times before, but certainly enough to say i am an obsessive counter. i usually count things for a purpose, like how many cars have US flags on them, or how many cars have their parking lights on
i count up for long estimates. i say to myself "by the time i reach 30, the bus will come. 1. 2. 3. 4...." i do it automatically too, but i can't make myself stop. i have to finish the count down once i start. man, i think i reveal myself too much

I love it, I do that too at times, us to more when I was younger than now. Don't know why I stopped, just kinda did.

Wow I thought I was the only person who did this lol. I usually count down from various start numbers usually when waiting for the bus or the traffic lights to change once on the bus. Funny though I don't do this if I'm waiting for the lights in my car.

I tend to count up. like i count to thirty then i get out of bed. or i figure by the time i count to 30 something will happen.
funny, but i always either pick 10, 30, or 50.
