Gaming Solution to music piracy.

A thought came to me one day recently that there is a very simple solution to getting rid of this whole RIAA issue. The bands need to post their music on the net. It should be free on the net. Then when they get big (this will also remove a lot of the bands that arent very good) they sell cds as well. To pay them they just increase the charge for tickets to the concerts. You cant download a concert. I mean unless you run a wireless network through the entire venue to a full broadcast van that uploads to the internet through a T1 or higher then maybe you could. and dont forget the $40,000 USD digital camera to provide a decent broadcast. needless to say. its annoying that none of my mp3s have left my computer except in sound form (minus all the cd's that i have bought over the years i have made a few backups for). and yet the RIAA has called once. i dont run KAZAA anymore. Any Mp3's I do want i just get from other sources.

By the by. not sure that this isnt a thread, i did a quick search for a few different topics.

How are they gonna sell CDs if they don't have a record contract with a record company? Who's gonna mass manufacture and distribute those CDs worldwide?

Ideal solution would be that they'd distribute everything digitally, and if you liked what they did, you'd pay.

But unfortunately moral isn't that high for most of us
