Actually, I've been watching a grip load of Flash animations over at www.newgrounds.com and had a thought....
And since you are the only person I know that knows Flash.....
I thought it would be pretty funny to make some kind of flash animation having the Avatars interact with each other...perhaps from the "Is it just me?" thread, or another thread that has sillyness in it ( okay, just pull one out of a hat   )
I'd love to do it myself, but I don't have Flash and really don't know where to start with the animation....not to mention that I don't have the foggiest idea of how to incorporate sound into an animation.... 
Just thought it would be a cool project....perhaps something a few here could collaborate on....with this thread being either the subject of the animation, or just a brainstorming channel....
Whatcha guys think? wouldn't that be keen?

good idea, well things i need are the avatars (ok easy one, some nice sound files and maybe an idea what they should do! (is it just me sounds too simple for that =) and there are too many pages! )

Linky fixed...sorry 'bout that!
I was thinking...how cool would it be to make an animation of the "Anatomy of a Thread" ? You could start by having an avatar start a thread with a really bad topic....waits...scribbles it out and finds a more catchy topic, and watch as people start replying.
I was thinking like how our posts are framed, the first post could frame out of no where, encapsulating the Avatar and expands as the topic is spelled out, and then as each person arrives, their thoughts spell out and fill out their own Rectangles as their avatars convey the mood of their reply, etc.

Creatures, I've got a folder just for TechIMO created Avatars, although a few are missing..most of them were ones that I planned on "recreating" for holiday themes, and some are ones I just thought were too cool. I don't know if I've got some like Martoch's original, or even Knotheads....I'm trying to remember to start collecting and filing them though....kinda a personal project.
Guess I'll end up being the Avatar archive
