Changing the brake pads...

Just changed them for the first time. Can't say I really enjoyed it. I can think of about 200 things I'd rather be doing.

One thing though, I had to disconnect the brake line to put them back on. I guess I now need to bled the brakes, right?

How do I do it and is there anything special I need to worry about with ABS?

Thanks.

Yes... there are special procedures for ABS equipped cars. Year, make and model please...

'95 Dodge Neon. 4 wheel disc brakes.

It was the only way I could get the right angle to get the caliper back on.

It appears no special steps need be taken.

I suggest you purchase a haynes manual from autozone and see if it recommends and special procedures.

You should get someone to help you bleed the brakes. You should have somone pushing the pedal while you watch the line.

Future reference: if you don't pull the lines you won't need to bleed the brakes.

I've never done a brake job that required the lines be pulled.

I always use a c-clamp to push the piston back in the caliper. you really should flush the brake fluid though.(it does get old and wear out.)
