I hate priceline

Well I bought a ticket on pricline today, and don't get me wrong, I got a good deal.

Unfortunately I clicked the wrong return date so I am now heading home a day early!

I have already contacted the airline and they refused to help me on any level. I sent an email to priceline, since it is impossible to get a human on the phone, and I doubt they will be any help to me either.

Basicly I am up the creek without a paddle now and am paying $221 for a 36 hour trip

Lets hope that priceline responds favorably to me as US Airways sure did not.

Bah, bad start to the day for me.

So, you hate priceline because you accepted the wrong return date?

Ah it is just frusturation at myself that causes me to write that. Can't believe that I put the wrong date and didn't catch it

Hopefully priceline is sympathetic to me

They are a good company I am just angry with myself.

Well, some days I wish I COULD head home early. Don't beat yourself up about it. If priceline won't help you , try writing the credit card company about the issue. They will act as an arbitrar and at the least they will delay the payment. But I think priceline may have you on this one. Relax. It happens.

It happens to all of us. I bought tix for my wife and daughter and selected a return trip that I thought brought them into Newark at 1:30 in the afternoon, turns out it was AM. YAWN!! What a dummy!

jkrohn, might you able to cancel the current flight through Priceline [ with a full refund ] and just book a new flight?

If you know a travel agent, ask if they might be able to help..

Priceline in general will not help you. You bought it, thats that. Head over to e-pinons and you will find scores of people that have done similar things and BLAME Priceline. But, you may get lucky.

Well they were very nice in the email that I got back, and a person actually read it and replied!

The good news? They are allowing me to exchange the ticket for the departure date that I want.
The bad news? There is a $100 fee involved.

Now I have to decide if the day is worth $100

Overall priceline was nice about it, though there is room for nicer

I try not to get flights on Priceline. I hate not knowing what time, and what airline I will be flying with.

Everytime we go to the Bay Area, we use Priceline. Last weekend we stayed at the Hilton Towers for $75 a night. In early December, we'll be staying at the Hyatt for $65 a night. (Both four start hotels).
