After Rush, Enquirer looking for bigger fish...

Matt Drudge is reporting that the National Enquirer (All the sleaze that's fit to print) will report Matt Lauer, one of those morning personalities your wife likes to watch, has a bit of a skeleton in his closet by the name of cocaine.

Well, even if true, there's a bit of a difference between having cocaine in your past (like at least two Presidents I can name) and being a current high-volume illegal user of Schedule II drugs.

Mind you, I have no idea who Matt Lauer is, whether he's liberal or conservative, sensible or jackass. And National Enquirer is a pretty scummy operation; I couldn't take the Rush Limbaugh story seriously until it was picked up by the New York Daily News, which is one level less scummy.
