The Real Bingo is on a distinguished road

I live in a small town in the suburbs of Philadelphia. There is a lot on a main road where a gas station used to be many years ago, and they are finally putting the property to good use. The problem is they are putting up a Starbucks Now I wouldnt mind this so much if there wasnt another Starbucks 3 miles away ON THE SAME ROAD. Do these people know where to build their stores? I dont know much, if anything about business, but putting up another Starbucks so close to another one cant be good.

What about where you folks live? Any Starbucks' nearby?

It's called Conquest Marketing. A lot of the reason lots of folks hate Starbuck's.

It's a profitable thing for them....they get the Alzheimer's crowd in there, these guys have a cuppa coffee, then leave..then see another Starbucks, so they decide to have a cuppa coffee there, too.

I know, I know, SICK....

LOL...I like their coffee, but their prices and the overpopulation of locations annoys me.

blech
starbucks = muddy pond water

Now if we could just get a tim hortons down here

although they're just as guilty of bombing an area with their stores.
There's a place in missisauga (ON) that has a timmy's in a gas station, then literally right across the street is a full restaurant

but they're both busy

Hmm.. the only Starbucks in my area are located in Barnes and Noble bookstores. I really wouldn't mind that but unfortunately they've turned in a sort of pick up bar for area high school kids. It can turn into quite a show sometimes. Unfortunately it's not what you're looking for when you're in a bookstore. . .

Maybe if we had a Starbucks 3 miles from there it would be less of a problem.
