Help TV Problems!
Hmm, well my roomates TV just broke out of the blue.

What we did:
Turned it sideways and plugged in the VCR.
Turned it back

Turned it back on and now
1) The picture is brighter
2) There are whiteish horizontal lines about an inch apart. These lines are present no matter what the input is coming into the TV. Even if we take all inputs out, the lines are still there will all the fuzz.
I gave it a few whacks, but after that worked I had exhausted all my TV skills.

Anyone know?

Problem is that it is his GF's TV and she is not to happy he broke it
