There is a difference between a press release and news, you know.

i wouldn't trust the content in that article, military articles have away of telling the truth, just not the whole truth.. I know i used to write them, specifically about construction units..

I too doubt the article. The military is run by the government and right now the government is trying to cover its ass because it's under fire from pretty much the entire world - including most people in the US. Trusting what the military says about its campaigns is like trusting what Microsoft says about its software. Some might be true and some might be false. The government doesn't exactly have a clean record when it comes to the truth.

So the people got their water supply because of the Military and their Engineers, not because of some religious nut or some whacky politician kissing babies so they would vote for him.

Come on people that IS something new!

Lets face it everybody needs a peaceful Military Engineer to help them.

You could try praying but it doesn't lay pipelines.

You could hold a religious service but you still go thirsty.

You could even vote as to whether water is a good idea, yes or no.

But it isn't getting them anywhere.

And, in the meantime, what did the "religious" do?

Stand by and watch these people dying whilst urging them to have MORE children to feed, clothe and educate.

Hypocrits.

Hypocritical parasites....
IMO this is starting to become offensive.

Mea maxima culpa. Please excuse me.

There are a lot of people in other parts of the world who are suffering acute poverty and poor standards too.

To a poor man or woman avaricious greed is offensive too.

Poverty and problems do not give you the right, nor do they excuse your use of blatant generalisations and blanket statements. Especially when you try to post your opinion as though it were a fact all the time.

As far as I'm concerned, you should take it easy and get to the know our community before you continue posting in this method, that way you will get to know us and we will get to know you, before you continue with your agenda of commenting negatively and sarcastically about religion in every thread.

Without being aggressive in any way. The fact which is clear to everyone is that we inhabit a planet populated by human beings.

I don't see "religion" as such as I don't profess one. I "only" have belief.

I don't believe in using sarcasm at any time even though there are many who do.

There is altogether too much negative commentary.

On these matters I agree with you.

But having MORE children is NOT the "answer" to everything.

It would pay mankind hansomely to examine all of the anti-social and counterproductive aspects of what "society" in general does and then, simply, stop doing them.

Pornography and tobacco for example, plus the trillions spent on weaponry instead of educating people and regulating them in such a way that they can all share fairly.

As all Good Shepherds know, it is a duty of care.
