Don't blame the fan...Blame the Cubs!!

Walk before..... error afterwards. I would have done the same thing. Duh, ball might hit me on the head,...I think I'll try and catch it.

Security had to escort the family out of the stadium before the game ended for their safety.

Foul ball third base side one row in the stands. Player goes for the ball, which could have been caught and fan who followed the flight of the ball went for it the same time.

No one caught it.

Florida goes on to score 8 runs to win.

A fan did exactly whay any fan would do and tried to catch a ball hit into the stands. It was close enough to the field that it could have been caught by the Cub's left fielder, but the fan was higher up and deflected it before it could be caught. Still, clearly NOT the fan's fault. Chicago was way slow pulling the starting pitcher and paid the price.

EDIT: Slow again. Well, you get the picture.

It ain't over yet, and the Cubbies at least get to play Game 7 at home. The Bosox have to win two at NY.

If it ends up Yankees and Marlins, I won't give a hoot who wins. And I bet the networks will be hating it, too. A Cubs/Red Sox World Series would have set records for folks watching.

As long as the Yankees don't win, I am happy.
I am beginning to think that baseball is rigged... It wouldn't be the first professional sport.

fan is still a JA.. if he's a cubs fan he should of been booed out. This isn't exactly little league its the pennant race. GET OUT OF THE WAY.. let the player do their job.

Regardless of who won or loss the fans also have a responsibility to let the players play the game, especially in a critical game such as this.
