There's a lot of ground that needs to be covered before that will happen. Really its the last thing we need. Imagine going to a public health clinic waiting your turn with all these users who are waiting to get there fix.

Nine states have laws legalizing marijuana for people with physician recommendations or prescriptions: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. And 35 states have passed legislation recognizing marijuana's medicinal value.
Get ready Tony, its eventually gonna happen in your state as well, but not the way you are imagining it...

| Please explain your comments, Tony, as I do not understand.
Denying an herbal medicine to those who could benefit from it is government at its worst...or close to it.

I think Tony has the belief that "potheads" will be going to the clinic and saying "ouch my eye" and automatically getting a script for marijuana.

As it is, people can go into a supermarket and put down a twenty and go home with a big bottle of Whiskey...a far more dangerous drug! |

I'm so confused as to why this country continues to hold pot to such a lower standard than alcohol...soooo confused. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

all i know was when i had cancer my doctor told me that if i smoked pot , to smoke it after chemo . if you have never had chemo you have no idea what it does to you or how it makes you feel . i lost 100lbs when i was taking chemo . pot kept the craving to puke to a minimum and made me hungry . i use to think "how much wieght would i have lost if i didn't smoke pot . the chemo makes you not want to do anything but lie there and think about die'n ....
like s7ryk3r said it is all about money . i would rather see people smoking pot than drinking anyday ...

I had a friend in high school who had cancer. She eventually died after a second fight with it (at age 17). They had given her morphine for the pain, but she didn't enjoy taking it all that much except when it was really painful. It made her sick. But a little pot did her wonders. I shake my head at this country's idiotic politics.
