Pedro, Pedro, Pedro
What is wrong with him today? He's seems upset and angry about something and he's pitching like crap.

So I see. I hope he gets better...I want a 1908 or w/e it was World Series rematch with the Cubs and Red Sox's. That was the World Series the Red Sox won.

This is despicable. These bozos get paid millions to play baseball and have screwed their fans so many times (I'm talking about all baseball players here). Now they're ruining what should have been a classic game. I'm disgusted.

What are you talking about? Pedro didn't run across the field looking for a fight. Was Zimmer expecting Pedro to just get socked in the chin? There is no way I would have stood there and let that moronic coach throw a punch at me. Pedro barely shoved him on the ground.
That wasn't a fan that jumped into the bullpen either.
The next game won't be a good one for the Red Sox either.
Damn Yankees.

The idiot part was right, though. He was a groundskeeper for the park. Not anymore.
And Pedro started that whole sad affair. I saw early on he was mad at something and then he pulls a bonehead stunt like that. Zimmer did swing at him, but I would think it could have been handled better. If a 70 year old man swung at me, I'm pretty sure I could avoid it without throwing him to the ground. Still, the league should fine Zimmer for charging the mound like that.
All-in-all a disgusting display.
And this series, along with the last, shows why Boston can't win the Big One. Their key people choke in the clutch. The best offense in baseball hasn't showed up in the playoffs at all.

What's the best way to not have him take another swing? Have you seen the replays? Pedro didn't shove him down and stomp on it. He barely pushed him. That's what happens when you have a bad hip, two bad knees, and have been in bad shape for the past 30 or so years.
Clemens apparently doesn't like that batters wear protective gear, I don't know why he throws baseballs at their heads though. Ahh well.
Yeah that groundskeeper isn't going to be working at Fenway next year. I was expecting a crazy game, I didn't expect it to be this crazy though.

I wish the whole Zimmer Pedro thing didn't happen Zimmer being 72 and all but he did go after Pedro not sure how else he could have handled it. I don't know what happened between the grounds keeper and the Yankees I knew when it happened it wasn't a fan by the way the police were handling it, the person wasn't cuffed and he wasn't being smacked, As far as boston being idiotic fans there are idiotic fans every where no more no less in Boston

Too bad Billy Martin, Hank Bauer, o Whithey Ford weren't there, you would have seen A REAL Brawl. I remember one game when Billy was playing shortstop, he went after a foul ball by third base and a fan made some nasty remark, well Billy threw down his glove and dragged that fan out of his seat and commence to kick his @ss til the third basemen and third base coach got him off of him. Those were the days !!!!!

How long ago was this pickel? If that happens now, the fan is going to acquire a few zero's for his bank account. Unless of course he assaulted the player. |
